I think about Broad as so much more than clothing. For me, it’s personal. It’s about men who have spent years feeling like they had to make themselves smaller, quieter, less visible, and finally deciding they don’t have to. We’re not asking for more space. We’re taking up the space that was already ours. @anthonypmanieri and our team have been cooking up something so powerful to celebrate the pre-launch phase of @broad_republic and I genuinely can’t wait to show the world what we’ve made together. The collaboration officially launches October 1st, but this week, we’re taking these stories to New York for Fashion Week, meeting with editors and media to talk about our men and about our community, who have been overlooked for far too long.Long before it’s worn, it’s worked on. Cut. Pinned. Fitted. Pulled apart. Rebuilt. There are things you see in a garment, and things you only feel. The details are in the fit, and the fit is everything.I’ve always felt that my role in fashion was less about following where the industry is going and more about seeing where it needs to go next. To recognize what hasn’t been said yet, what hasn’t been made yet, and perhaps most importantly, who hasn’t been seen yet. That instinct has shaped much of my career, and it’s at the heart of what I’m building with Broad Republic. Because Broad isn’t simply about making clothes for bigger men; it’s about seeing the man beneath them, understanding the space he deserves to occupy, and creating a world that reflects it. I’ve always believed the best product starts long before the product itself, with a point of view, a feeling, a cultural tension, a person. Maybe that’s what being an oracle in fashion really means: seeing the future clearly enough that you can start building it before anyone else believes it exists.
