Maïna has always had a profound interest in visual arts. Her young self-fed an insatiable curiosity and limitless creativity through drawing and painting. Since then, very little has changed, except for her canvas that has now transformed into a rich palette of models, actors, and artists. From bejeweled looks with bold eyeshadow to pared back, minimalism with fresh, glowing skin, her artistic abilities can be seen on an impressive number of campaigns, movies, magazines, and international projects. Maïna’s unique approach and sensitivity earned her a loyal celebrity clientele including Charlotte Lebon, Coeur de Pirate, Monia Chokri and Magalie Lépine Blondeau.
It’s her double nomination for Best Makeup and Best Hair for two different motion pictures at the Gala du cinéma Québécois that grew her a solid reputation within the industry. She won Best Makeup at the Canadian screen Awards for Mommy (2015) and It's Only the End of the World (2017), directed by Xavier Dolan.
