Fyodor (Fedya) Vinkovetsky is a Canadian-American director and director of photography of Russian descent, based in Montreal. His work fuses youthful energy with refined visual storytelling, focusing on emotionally resonant and visually striking imagery.
Raised in Austin, Texas, Fedya was immersed in the city’s vibrant music scene, which sparked a deep love for music that eventually merged with his passion for film—particularly through music videos. This fusion became the foundation of his creative identity, leading him to develop his own visual language rooted in emotion and narrative.
His practice spans fashion films, branded content, music videos, and documentaries. He has collaborated with brands such as Sheertex, Simons, Ardene, and Sarah Pacini.
