📷 @jacleeweddingsAustralia, it was epic!Aussie summer 🇦🇺A day in the AdirondacksOver 9 years ago, I decided to embrace my thoughts, my values, and my choices. I chose to trust myself and shift towards a plant-based diet and a lifestyle where no creature on this earth would have to suffer for me to live. For many of us, this seems unthinkable or contrary to everything humanity has always done.

When we were still using bows and arrows and sleeping in caves, our survival required certain practices, like hunting, fishing, or wearing animal skins. Every means was justified for survival.

But I have some good news for you: IT’S OVER! And it has been for a very long time...

We talk about evolution, but we still struggle to address certain paradoxes in our society (industrial farming, species extermination, or climate change).

I understand that it’s difficult to see things differently from what we’ve always known. No one is perfect—far from it! But I believe it’s simply time to see veganism for what it truly is: a healthy life, rooted in compassion and learning.

Believe me, I’ve never regretted this change. Yes, it takes time and some experience to relearn everything we’ve been led to believe until now. But once again, you won’t be disappointed.

Breakfast:
* Smoothie:
blueberries, banana, flax seeds, peanut butter, plant-based protein, soy milk.
* Oatmeal:
Oats, water.
Lunch:
* Energy Bowl Salad:
chickpeas, kale, sun-dried tomatoes, cucumbers, avocados, walnuts, rice, yeast, onions.
Diner:
* Magic BBQ:
tofu, corn, zucchini, rice.

With every meal, I love to finish by eating one (or more 🤤) fruit. Watermelon, peach, strawberry, blueberry, cherry... truly addictive!

When my day allows it, I like to train twice a day: a running session and a weightlifting session.
That’s why I make sure to keep my glycogen stores high to stay energetic and efficient throughout the day.
Which, in my opinion, is the most important.

Of course, it’s also important to eat according to the energy expended during the day (calories consumed -> calories burned).
