You CAN sit with us but we’re annoyingThe journey of creating the Psycom Future Foundation has taken us across wild landscapes, through huge challenges, and led us to meet communities that need support. Setting up the foundation was no easy task. It has required risk, patience, resilience, and a deep commitment to something bigger than ourselves. Our goal is clear: to protect endangered species, support local schools, raise awareness about wildlife, and create educational content that reconnects people with nature. Today, important milestones are already taking shape. Our rehab enclosures are done and ready to operate, and we are currently waiting for the final permits to welcome animals onto our premises. We’ve begun supporting the Klipfontein Primary School in their sports field construction project to help motivate students and fight school dropout. Phase 1 of the project consisted of ground preparation (clearing the bush and levelling the field across the entire area to prepare it for further development and the installation of new poles), and is now completed. The school is currently working on Phase 2 of the project: securing the sports grounds by installing a boundary fence around the field. This foundation exists because of people like you who believe change is possible. Everyone following our journey is a great source of support, and we want to thank you for being part of this mission. An exciting way to make up with the sport and get back into it after the nightmare that was Namibia lol Looking forward to sharing this adventure!Each year, the Y Event surprises us with its load of challenges and unexpected curveballs. And this year will be tough to beat. I did not get to meet Jane Goodall, and that is my only regret. I take great pride in being part of this major project yearly, and I am always impressed of and grateful for the teamwork and efforts behind it.
