Yay!!! My entry for @nailonglobal Mixed Media Box (professional category) has landed me first place!

Here was my statement for the piece:

Inspired by Marc Jacobs’ Met Gala nails, Cardi B’s bling and Sha'Carri's olympic nails! My entry is a tribute to the bold, flashy designs that define today's nail culture, and their evolution; from 90s nail salon imagery to the modern masterpieces by celebrity nail artists like Jenny Bui.

Being honored by @beautychangeslives surrounded by my family, friends, mentors, industry peers, @theblondsny and so many people I love was an experience I'll never forget. From the gala to the celebration that followed, the energy was absolutely electric.

One of my favorite moments was seeing NAILS take center stage. These incredible after-party looks were created by the talented Top 3 NASNA finalists — @jessveronails , @chellys_nails , and @kovanailsart — under the creative direction of @tamaradilullo . Assisted by @silly.goose.nailz

Giving emerging talent an opportunity to showcase their artistry for leaders across every corner of the beauty industry is exactly why I believe so deeply in education, mentorship, and competition.

To have guests from fashion, beauty, and entertainment—including my friends The Blonds —experiencing the creativity and impact of nail artistry was truly special.

My heartfelt thanks to @beautychangeslives, the dedicated volunteers, the I ❤️ Nails Task Force, the gala committee, and everyone who helped make this year's event one of the very best yet. Together, we showed the beauty industry what I've always known: nails are more than a service—they're an art form, a career, a community, and a powerful force for change. ❤️
